Hill setting
The town sits on uneven upland ground, and its roads bend to follow the terrain rather than a strict grid.

Gabela Map Poster & Print
Gabela is in Angola's Kwanza Sul province, in the upland Amboim area, where the land rises inland from the Atlantic coast. The area has long been associated with coffee growing, and the landscape around the town is hilly and green, with farms and wooded slopes.
On a map Gabela appears as a town adapted to the terrain. Its main roads follow ridges and valley lines, and streets spread outward from a more regular central district. The edges of the town are loose and gradually give way to smallholdings, tracks and open country.
A Gabela map poster gives a clear view of a highland town rarely seen at this level of detail: the central streets, the roads leading off into the hills and the looser pattern of surrounding neighbourhoods. It is a quiet, understated portrait of a place defined by its setting.
