Converging main roads
A few regional roads lead into the town from different directions and meet near the centre. They give the map its strongest lines and show where activity gathers.

Gandajika Map Poster & Print
Gandajika is a town in Lomami province, in the south-central part of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. It sits on open plateau country of grassland, woodland and cultivated plots, far from the country's large river ports. On a map it appears as a broad, low-density settlement. A handful of main roads converge on the centre, and many smaller tracks branch between homes and fields.
The surrounding area is known mainly for farming, with maize, cassava and other staple crops grown across the plateau. There is no compact historic core. Instead the town has a loose, spreading footprint where residential compounds and garden plots sit side by side, and the line between town and countryside is gentle rather than sharp.
A Gandajika map poster shows this pattern honestly: a few firm lines for the main routes, a scattered mesh of lanes and wide areas of open ground between them. The result is sparse and airy. It is a quiet portrait of a place that is rarely mapped for a wall but matters deeply to those who come from it.

Low-density neighbourhoods
Residential areas spread widely with plenty of space between streets, so the linework is loose and open, very different from the tight grids of older cities.
Plateau farmland
Around the town the map opens into cultivated fields, grassland and patches of woodland, crossed by footpaths and tracks that connect outlying villages to the centre.
