Giurgiu Map Poster & Print
Giurgiu lies on the left bank of the Danube, directly across from the Bulgarian city of Ruse and about an hour's drive south of Bucharest. From above the city lies on low ground, with river channels, backwaters and port basins along its southern edge and a grid of streets spreading north from the waterfront.
The Friendship Bridge, opened in 1954, carries road and rail across the Danube to Ruse and remains one of the few fixed crossings on the Romanian–Bulgarian stretch of the river. In the centre stands the old clock tower, a reminder of the centuries when Giurgiu was a fortified Ottoman river town.
A Giurgiu map poster is shaped by the river. The broad band of the Danube dominates the lower part of the frame, the bridge draws a single decisive line across it, and the street grid, rail lines and docks fill the land above. It is a map about borders, water and connection.

Danube waterfront
Side channels, islands and port basins give the southern edge of the city a complex, layered outline where land and river interlock.
Clock tower centre
The historic centre gathers around the clock tower, where the street pattern tightens before opening out into later residential districts to the north.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Giurgiu suits people from the city, travellers who have crossed the bridge between Romania and Bulgaria, and anyone drawn to Danube towns. The contrast of wide river and dense grid gives the poster a strong horizontal balance.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and add a date that matters to you. The five styles are Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir makes the Danube read as a deep, dark band beneath the city.
