Ikaruga Map Poster & Print
This Ikaruga lies in Hyōgo Prefecture, on the Harima Plain a short distance west of Himeji. From above, it is a spread of residential streets, older village clusters and rice paddies, with wooded hills rising at the edges of the plain. Rail and road lines cross it on their way along the Inland Sea coast.
The name links the area to Prince Shōtoku, the early statesman and patron of Buddhism. Local tradition connects the temple here, Ikaruga-dera, to his estates in Harima. It shares the name of the better-known Ikaruga in Nara, home to Hōryū-ji.
An Ikaruga map poster gives an unhurried view of the place. It shows the temple grounds, the pattern of paddy fields and the edges where town meets farmland. It is a thoughtful choice for residents, former residents and anyone drawn to this quieter part of Hyōgo.

Paddy field grid
Rice fields around the town create a fine, regular pattern of plots that turns into a delicate texture in black and white.
Hills at the edge
Low wooded hills frame the plain, giving the composition a soft boundary and a sense of enclosure.

A map of Ikaruga speaks to people who know the town from daily life: the walk past the temple, the train toward Himeji, the paddies changing with the seasons. It is a calm, personal piece rather than a showy one.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and add a family name, a date or a short phrase. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint and Sand. Noir suits the town's quiet character.
