Ise-Ekiti lies in the south of Ekiti State in southwestern Nigeria, in a landscape of hills, granite outcrops and farmland typical of the region. From above, the town is a cluster of streets and compounds around its centre, with roads leading out toward neighbouring towns and toward Ado-Ekiti, the state capital.
