Iselin Map Poster & Print
Iselin is a community in Woodbridge Township, in Middlesex County, New Jersey. On a map it is a typical postwar suburb: blocks of single-family houses on quiet streets, crossed by larger roads and transport corridors. The Northeast Corridor rail line and the Garden State Parkway pass along its edges, and Metropark station, one of the busier commuter stations on the line, sits close by.
The best-known part of Iselin is Oak Tree Road, which has become one of the largest South Asian commercial districts in the United States. Shops selling saris and jewellery, restaurants and sweet shops line the road, and it draws visitors from across the region, especially during festivals. On the map, this road runs as a long line through the neighbourhoods and ties them together.
An Iselin map poster shows the balance between quiet residential streets and the major transport routes that bring commuters and visitors to the area. The rail line and the parkway frame the composition, and Oak Tree Road provides a central axis. For many families, it is a map of the place where they first settled in America.

Rail corridor
The Northeast Corridor tracks run along the area's edge near Metropark station, drawing a long straight line that sets off the curves of the suburban streets.
Suburban blocks
Quiet streets of detached houses fill most of the map in a mix of short grids and gentle curves, typical of mid-century New Jersey suburbs.
