Rice paddy patterns
Valley floors are divided into rice paddies, whose neat rectangular outlines give the map a fine, orderly texture between the hills.

Ishitsuka Map Poster & Print
Ishitsuka is a settlement in Ibaraki Prefecture, in the rural area north-west of Mito, the prefectural capital. The land here is typical of inland Ibaraki: gentle hills covered with woodland, valleys given over to rice paddies, and small communities spread along the roads that link them.
On a map, Ishitsuka appears as a loose cluster of streets and houses rather than a dense town centre. Narrow lanes follow the edges of fields and the base of wooded slopes, while a few larger roads carry traffic toward Mito and other towns in the prefecture. Streams run through the valleys between the hills.
An Ishitsuka map poster captures the calm texture of rural Japan. The rectangular outlines of rice paddies, the winding lanes and the scattered buildings create a composition that feels open and unhurried. It is a fitting image for anyone who knows the countryside of Ibaraki beyond the larger cities.
