Islāmpur Map Poster & Print
Islāmpur lies in the Nalanda district of Bihar, in the flat, fertile country of the Gangetic plain south of the river. On a map the town appears as a dense cluster of narrow lanes around a central market area, with roads leading out in several directions toward neighbouring towns and villages.
The surrounding land is intensively farmed, and field boundaries, small ponds and village tracks cover the area around the town in fine detail. The town itself grew organically, so its lanes curve and branch, while the main roads cut through it in longer, straighter lines.
An Islāmpur map poster is a portrait of a busy regional town in one of India's historically significant districts. The map does not rely on landmarks; its interest comes from the contrast between the tightly packed centre and the open, patterned countryside that surrounds it.
