Itapecuru Mirim Map Poster & Print
Itapecuru Mirim is a town in the Brazilian state of Maranhão, located on the Itapecuru River in the interior south of São Luís. On a map the river is the defining feature, winding past the town, with the urban grid developing on the higher ground beside it and roads leading out across the surrounding plain.
The river has long been a route for people and goods in this part of Maranhão, and the town grew as a local centre for the agricultural region around it. Its layout combines an older core near the water with more recent streets extending away from the river.
An Itapecuru Mirim map poster shows the relationship between town and river. The Itapecuru draws an irregular, meandering line through the frame, the streets form a compact grid beside it, and the highway and rural roads give the composition its outward reach.

Itapecuru Mirim is home for many families who have since moved to São Luís or other cities. A map of the town and its river is a personal reminder of where they come from, and a thoughtful gift.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Blueprint brings out the river's meanders, while Sand gives the print warmth.
