Jaboticatubas Map Poster & Print
Jaboticatubas is north of Belo Horizonte, in the region leading up to the Serra do Cipó. Part of the Serra do Cipó National Park lies within the municipality. The town itself is small and compact. Its streets gather around a central core and then open onto hilly countryside where there are only a few roads.
As the map moves toward the mountains, it becomes emptier. Roads follow valleys, and streams cut through the landscape as they flow down from the rocky uplands. Here the Espinhaço range rises in rugged ridges, and the protected land of the park shows up as a large area with very little built detail.
A Jaboticatubas map poster works best when it includes some of the surrounding land. This lets the small town sit against the open ground that leads toward the serra. The result is a composition built on space, with a dense centre, thin roads and quiet margins.

Toward Serra do Cipó
Part of the national park lies within the municipality, so a wider frame reaches into protected upland that has little built detail.
Valley roads and streams
Roads and streams follow valleys away from the town, creating long curving lines across an otherwise open landscape.
