Palm grove belt
Orchards of date palms and citrus encircle the town, forming a fine patchwork of plots and lanes that gives the map a soft, textured border.

Jahrom Map Poster & Print
Jahrom lies in the south of Fars Province, in a valley lower and warmer than the Shiraz region to the north-west. On a map the town appears as a dense centre of narrow streets surrounded by a wide belt of orchards, and the transition from built blocks to garden plots is the defining feature of the drawing.
The area is known across Iran for its dates and citrus fruit, and the palm groves around the town show up as fine, irregular parcels threaded with lanes and irrigation lines. Beyond them, bare ridges run roughly parallel to one another, part of the folded mountain country of the Zagros.
A Jahrom map poster captures a desert town that depends on its gardens. The compact old quarter, the newer avenues that cut through it and the orchards that surround it all appear at the same weight, so the print reads as a map of a whole agricultural landscape as well as of a town.

Compact old quarter
At the centre, older streets are narrow and closely packed, a denser area that stands out clearly against the broader avenues of newer districts.
Zagros ridges
Long mountain ridges run across the surrounding country, leaving large empty areas on the map that frame the settled valley floor.

For people from Jahrom, the orchards and the old streets are part of home, and this map keeps both in view. It also makes a quiet, thoughtful gift for someone who has moved away from Fars.
