Scattered villages
Small settlement clusters are spread across the frame, each a knot of lanes and houses, together forming an even, open pattern across the whole map.

Jatiroto Map Poster & Print
Jatiroto lies in the southeastern corner of Central Java, in hilly country not far from the border with East Java. It is less a single town than a district of villages, and the map reflects that: scattered clusters of houses, roads that follow ridges and valleys, and wide stretches of cultivated land lying between the settlements.
In black and white this becomes a delicate pattern. Local roads wind with the terrain rather than running straight, meeting at small centres where daily life gathers. Streams and field boundaries add fine lines, and the overall impression is of a landscape shaped patiently by farming over generations, with no single dominant core pulling everything together.
A Jatiroto map poster is a quiet, personal piece. It suits people who grew up in these villages and have since moved to Solo, Jakarta or further, as well as families who want the place of their parents or grandparents on the wall. The drawing keeps the texture of the land intact rather than reducing it.

Winding roads
Roads follow the rise and fall of the hills, curving between villages and giving the composition a relaxed, organic flow from edge to edge.
Farmland between
The wide spaces between settlements are cultivated land, which leaves generous open areas on the poster and lets the lines of roads and villages breathe.

A map of Jatiroto is less about a skyline than about roots: the road to a grandparent's house, the village where a family began. It makes a thoughtful gift during a homecoming, or a reminder of home for someone working far away.
Personalise the title and subtitle with a village or family name, add a date to the coordinates line, and choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Buy the $9 HD files or order a matte printed poster.
