Peninsula spine
The central hills of the Chita Peninsula run north to south, and roads and settlements curve around them. This gives the map its long, slightly winding structure.

Kaminoma Map Poster & Print
Kaminoma lies on the Chita Peninsula, the long finger of land that extends south from Nagoya between Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay. From above it looks less like a town centre and more like a patchwork. Clusters of houses sit along narrow roads, small agricultural plots fill the gaps, and wooded hills rise across the middle of the peninsula.
The area is served by the Meitetsu line that runs down the peninsula, and the railway is one of the few straight lines on an otherwise organic map. Roads follow valleys and the edges of the fields rather than a grid. Ponds and reservoirs, a common feature of the Chita landscape, appear as small scattered shapes among the settlements.
A Kaminoma map poster is gentle in character. There is no dense downtown, and the drawing is made of fine threads of lanes, blocks of fields and the curve of the land toward the water. It is a quiet image of rural Aichi, close to the industrial heartland but clearly apart from it.

Railway line
The Meitetsu line draws a steady, clean stroke across the area. It links the local settlements to Nagoya and contrasts with the irregular lanes around it.
Ponds and fields
Small irrigation ponds and open agricultural land break up the housing. They leave calm white spaces that keep the composition light and uncluttered.
