Dense residential core
The centre of town is a close weave of short streets and narrow lanes. On paper it becomes a fine, even texture that contrasts with the emptier land around it.

Karahrūd Map Poster & Print
Karahrūd sits in Markazi Province in central Iran, a short distance from Arak, the provincial capital. On a map it reads as a modest, tightly drawn settlement where residential blocks press close together and a few longer roads run across them. The street pattern is dense but not chaotic. It is the kind of town whose shape you learn by walking it more than by seeing it on a postcard.
The land around the town frames it clearly. To one side the high, open plain around Arak stretches out flat and broad. On the other, the ground begins to fold upward into the foothills of the Zagros ranges. In black and white, that contrast becomes the main composition: fine lines of lanes and alleys in the centre, thinning into roads that head out toward farmland, neighbouring villages and the larger city nearby.
A Karahrūd map poster suits a place like this because it holds on to what a general atlas leaves out. Small towns in central Iran rarely get their own printed map, yet their layout shows how people settled at the meeting point of plain and mountain. Here the linework is honest and uncluttered. It shows the town as it is, a local place with a clear edge and a quiet order to its streets.

Roads toward Arak
Connecting roads leave the built-up area and cross the plain toward Arak. They are the strongest straight lines on the sheet and tie the small town to its much larger neighbour.
Foothills at the edge
Beyond the last houses the road network thins as the terrain rises toward the Zagros. The streets stop and open ground takes over, which gives the map a clear, natural border.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
People who grew up in Karahrūd, or whose family comes from the Arak area, often want a record of the streets they actually know rather than a generic view of Iran. A map of the town keeps those routes and corners in one frame and gives a familiar place a lasting presence on the wall.
You can personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, for example with a family name or a meaningful date, and choose one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Digital HD files cost $9, and printed posters with an optional wooden frame ship from partners in over 30 countries.
