Dispersed lanes
Instead of a compact core, lanes spread across the land in several loose clusters, which gives the print an airy, scattered texture.

Khaira Map Poster & Print
Khaira lies in the northern Konkan belt of Maharashtra, the low coastal strip between the Western Ghats and the Arabian Sea. The terrain here is mostly flat, broken by creeks, ponds and patches of cultivation. From above, the settlement appears as a loose network of lanes and clustered houses, not a single dense centre.
Roads in this part of the Konkan tend to follow field boundaries and older paths, so the street pattern is irregular and dispersed. Small tanks and waterlogged ground show up as quiet blank shapes, and the pattern of lanes thickens around built-up clusters before thinning back into farmland. Printed in monochrome, the effect is closer to a delicate sketch than a hard-edged city plan.
We keep the description general because Khaira is a small place with little published detail. A Khaira map poster shows what the map itself shows: a coastal-plain settlement spread lightly across the land, shaped by water and fields rather than any grand plan.

Ponds and creeks
Small bodies of water and low-lying ground appear as clean blank shapes among the streets, typical of the flat north Konkan landscape.
Coastal plain setting
Set on level ground between the hills and the sea, the area has little relief, so roads wander with field edges rather than slopes.

For families from Khaira and people who have moved away from the Konkan coast, a map is a plain, personal way to keep a place in view. Its light, scattered pattern suits calm interiors.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates, perhaps with a family name or a date, and select one of five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. The digital files cost $9 and cover six print sizes.
