Khandela Map Poster & Print
Khandela is a town in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, in the historic region of Shekhawati. It lies near the Aravalli hills, and on a map the town appears as a dense core of narrow lanes surrounded by open, semi-arid land, with ridges rising in the distance.
The old part of Khandela is tightly packed, with streets that twist and branch in the pattern typical of Rajasthani towns that grew over centuries. Around it, newer neighbourhoods extend along the roads to neighbouring towns, and fields divided into irregular plots cover the surrounding plains.
Shekhawati is widely known for its havelis, the traditional mansions decorated with painted walls, and for its long history of trade. A Khandela map poster captures the contrast between the old town's intricate lanes and the wide, dry landscape around it.
