Shared border
Kreuzlingen and Konstanz meet in one continuous street pattern. On the poster the border is invisible, which is part of what makes the map interesting.

Kreuzlingen Map Poster & Print
Kreuzlingen is a town in the canton of Thurgau, on the southern shore of Lake Constance. Its map has an unusual feature. The town is built directly against Konstanz in Germany, and the two form a single urban area. The national border runs through streets and neighbourhoods, and on a street map it is almost impossible to see where one country ends.
The town grew around a monastery, and the former Kreuzlingen monastery and its church remain a landmark. Along the lake, Seeburg park and the shoreline give the town an open green edge, while the harbour and railway sit close to the water.
A Kreuzlingen map poster shows streets running from the lakeshore up gentle slopes, with the Konstanz side continuing to the north. It is a good map for anyone who crosses that border daily or lives on either side, since it shows how closely the two towns are joined.

Lake Constance shore
The town faces the lake along a shoreline of parks and harbour. The water gives the northern and eastern side of the map a broad, calm edge.
Seeburg park
A large green area by the lake, with paths and open ground, breaks up the streets and forms a clear landmark on the lakeside part of the print.
