Village clusters
Small settlements sit apart from one another across the hills. They make a scattered pattern of dense spots instead of one continuous town.

Kürten Map Poster & Print
Kürten lies in the Bergisches Land, the hilly, wooded country east of Cologne. Like many municipalities here, it is not a single town. It is a group of villages and hamlets, each on its own rise or valley slope, linked by winding country roads.
On a map this gives a pattern of small clusters rather than one mass of streets. Short lanes gather around each village. Woodland and meadow fill the gaps, and the roads curve to follow the ridges and streams. Parts of the municipality border the Dhünn reservoir, which supplies drinking water to the wider region.
A Kürten map poster suits people who like decentralised places. The eye moves from cluster to cluster instead of settling on one core. The result is light and evenly spread, with the hills showing only in how the roads bend.

Winding country roads
Roads follow ridges and valleys rather than straight lines. Their curves are the main way the Bergisch terrain shows on the poster.
Woodland gaps
Forest and pasture separate the villages. This leaves broad, quiet spaces between the built-up areas across the frame.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
People in Kürten usually say which village they are from, yet they belong to the whole municipality. A map that shows every part fits that sense of home, whether in the house itself or in a flat in Cologne.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with your village name or a family date. Five styles are available. Paper and Classic black & white suit the wooded landscape.
