Kuzhithurai lies in the far south of Tamil Nadu, in Kanyakumari district, a few kilometres from the Kerala border. The map is dense and green. Houses spread out among coconut groves and small plots rather than sitting in tight blocks, and narrow lanes branch off a few main roads in every direction.
