La Falda Map Poster & Print
La Falda lies in the Punilla Valley, one of the main holiday corridors of Córdoba province, below the eastern slopes of the Sierras Chicas. The town is long and narrow. Its centre runs along the main road through the valley, and the streets climb westward up the hillside until the houses give way to scrub and rock. On a map the lower streets are fairly regular, and the upper ones bend with the contours.
The town grew as a resort, and its best-known landmark reflects that. The Hotel Edén, a grand hotel from the early twentieth century on the upper side of town, once hosted prominent guests from Argentina and abroad. It is now a heritage site that draws visitors for its history. Around it, the looser pattern of plots and gardens shows La Falda's past as a place for holiday homes.
A La Falda map poster shows how a mountain town adapts to a valley. It starts with a spine along the valley floor, then side streets reach for the view and finally give way to the open sierra. Streams coming down from the hills cut across the grid in places and add fine, irregular lines to the composition.

Hillside streets
West of the centre, streets climb toward the Sierras Chicas and start to curve with the slope. The grid loosens into winding lanes as the terrain gets steeper.
Hotel Edén grounds
The historic Hotel Edén stands on the higher part of town in large grounds. It is a reference point for visitors and a reminder of La Falda's resort era.
