Checkerboard grid
Square blocks of equal size fill the town. On the poster the pattern looks almost like graph paper, with the main square near the centre.

Las Breñas Map Poster & Print
Las Breñas is a town in the southwest of Argentina's Chaco Province, on a wide plain dominated by farming. The land is almost completely flat. The town grew around its railway and follows a regular grid of square blocks that repeats evenly in every direction.
Outside town, the grid continues in the fields. Rural roads meet at right angles and enclose large rectangular plots. A Las Breñas map poster is therefore a study in straight lines, with only the railway breaking the pattern as it cuts across the town at an angle.
Farming shapes everything on this map, from the size of the plots to the grain storage beside the tracks. There are no mountains or coastline here. The town's character comes from its order and from the open space of the plain around it.

Railway line
The railway runs diagonally through the town and is the one line that does not follow the grid. It gives the design a clear focal point.
Field geometry
Beyond the last streets, rural roads mark out large square fields. The pattern continues to the edge of the map and repeats the town grid on a larger scale.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Some people find the plain beautiful because of its openness and order. This map suits a modern interior, where its clean lines and open space look calm rather than empty.
Add a family name, a farm or a date to the title and subtitle. Five styles are available, including Blueprint, which suits the grid well. HD downloads in six sizes cost $9.
