Several village cores
The municipality grew from separate villages, and their older centres still appear as distinct knots of tight streets, linked by roads and newer housing that is steadily closing the gaps.

Las Gabias Map Poster & Print
Las Gabias is a municipality just southwest of Granada in Andalusia, and its map reads less like a single town than a set of neighbouring villages that have grown towards each other. Older cores with short, irregular lanes sit apart from one another, while newer residential streets fill the land between them, forming the town's present outline.
Seen from above, the pattern is easy to follow. Compact historic centres hold dense clusters of buildings around their churches and squares. Around them, later housing forms looser grids and cul-de-sacs, and roads run out towards Granada and the surrounding villages. At the edges, the regular field divisions of the Vega, the fertile plain around the city, fill whatever space the houses have not yet taken.
Las Gabias is known for its archaeological heritage, including a Roman-era underground structure protected as a monument, and for a medieval tower that still stands in Gabia Grande. A Las Gabias map poster records a place in the middle of change, where agricultural land and a growing commuter town sit side by side on the same sheet.

Edge of the Vega
Farmland from Granada's fertile plain surrounds the built-up area, and its rectangular plots and field tracks give the poster's margins a quiet, ruled texture.
Newer residential grids
Recent expansion has added more regular blocks and looping residential streets, which contrast clearly with the irregular lanes of the older village centres.
