Las Varillas Map Poster & Print
Las Varillas is a town in the San Justo department of Córdoba province, on the flat pampas of central Argentina. Like many towns in the region, it grew around the railway and was laid out as a clean grid of square blocks. The map shows that plan with almost textbook clarity.
The streets run in straight lines and cross at right angles, with a central plaza at the heart of the grid. At the edge of town, the urban blocks give way to large rectangular fields. Rural roads extend the same geometry across the agricultural land toward the horizon.
A Las Varillas map poster is a study in order. The town grid, the railway line and the surrounding field pattern repeat at different scales, and the result is graphic, balanced and quietly striking. It suits people who like maps that almost look like abstract art.

Railway line
The track that helped create the town cuts across the grid at its own angle and adds a single strong diagonal.
Field geometry
Beyond the last streets, big rectangular farm parcels continue the grid at a larger scale out to the edges.
