Le Valtin Map Poster & Print
Le Valtin is a village in the Vosges department of north-eastern France, set in the upper valley of the Meurthe close to the main Vosges ridge and the Col de la Schlucht. The territory is mostly forest and upland pasture, and on the map the village appears as a small cluster of buildings along the valley road, surrounded by broad slopes rendered as open space.
Unlike the Alpine resorts, Le Valtin belongs to the rounded, wooded mountains of the Vosges, where skiing is modest and cross-country and walking trails matter as much as lifts. The young Meurthe runs through the valley, and roads lead up toward the ridge, where the Route des Crêtes follows the high ground near the Col de la Schlucht.
A Le Valtin map poster is a quiet, forest-framed image: a thin river line, a road following it, a handful of buildings and wide white space all around. It suits people who know the Vosges from hiking or snowshoeing, and who prefer a small village in the woods to a large resort.

Forested slopes
Most of the commune is woodland and upland pasture, which gives the map broad open areas crossed only by forest tracks and small streams.
Toward the ridge
Roads climb from the valley toward the crest of the Vosges near the Col de la Schlucht, linking the village to the high ridge route.

Le Valtin is a place for walking, snowshoes and long evenings, and it draws people who value forests as much as views. A map keeps that setting close, and its spare composition sits comfortably in a bedroom, cabin or reading corner.
