Lerdo Map Poster & Print
Lerdo lies in the state of Durango, on the western edge of the Comarca Lagunera, the metropolitan area it shares with Gómez Palacio and Torreón. The city stands near the Nazas River in semi-arid country, with dry hills to the west. On the map it looks like the final, greener piece of a large urban region stretching east across two states.
The historic centre is laid out on a regular grid of blocks around a main square and church, typical of northern Mexican towns. Tree-lined streets and gardens are more common here than in the larger industrial neighbourhoods further east. Roads link Lerdo closely with Gómez Palacio, and the two cities now meet almost without a break.
Beyond the built-up area, irrigated fields and desert scrub alternate, depending on how much water reaches the land from the Nazas. A Lerdo map poster captures this edge condition: a grid town at the start of a desert metropolis, with the river valley and the dry hills framing its streets on either side.

Link to Gómez Palacio
Main roads run east into neighbouring Gómez Palacio, and the built-up areas merge, placing Lerdo at the western end of the Laguna urban region.
Nazas River valley
The course of the Nazas and the irrigated land along it form a soft, natural band against the straight streets and the dry ground beyond.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
For families from La Laguna, Lerdo is often the quieter, greener part of home. A map of its streets and plaza makes a personal keepsake for anyone who has moved north to the United States or south to Mexico City.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line with a family name, a date or words in Spanish. Pick one of five styles, Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand suits the desert setting especially well.
