Winding old core
The town centre is a tight network of narrow, bending lanes. On the poster it forms a dense, intricate cluster that is clearly the oldest part of the town.

Losal Map Poster & Print
Losal lies in the Sikar district of Rajasthan, in the Shekhawati region between Jaipur and the Thar desert. The map shows a compact old core of narrow, winding lanes, the kind that grew up to give shade and shelter, surrounded by newer, more open streets and then sandy farmland stretching flat in every direction.
Shekhawati is known for its merchant towns and painted havelis, large courtyard houses decorated with murals, built by trading families. On a map, that heritage appears as dense blocks with internal courtyards and lanes that twist between them, rather than a planned grid.
A Losal map poster presents that inward-looking town form against a broad, empty landscape. The dense centre makes a strong focal point, while the thin roads and field lines around it convey the openness of the semi-arid plains.

Courtyard blocks
Traditional houses in the region are built around internal courtyards. On the map this gives the blocks a varied, cellular texture rather than solid shapes.
Open semi-arid plain
Beyond the town, flat sandy fields and a few roads fill the space. The sparse lines there make the dense centre stand out even more.
