Ramapo ridges
Wooded mountains take up much of the western township, leaving a broad, quiet area where only trails and a few roads cross the map.

Mahwah Map Poster & Print
Mahwah occupies the north-western corner of Bergen County, New Jersey, on the border with New York State. It is the largest municipality in the county by area, and its map shows why: much of the western half is forested ridge in the Ramapo Mountains, while homes, offices and shopping centres fill the lower ground to the east.
The Ramapo River runs along the foot of the hills, following the valley with Route 17, Interstate 287 and a railway line. Ramapo College of New Jersey has its campus in the township, set against the wooded slopes. Parks and reservations cover large parts of the higher ground.
A Mahwah map poster combines two very different textures. Cul-de-sacs and curving residential streets fill the eastern part, while the western ridges are almost empty except for trails and a few roads. The river and highway corridor runs between them.

Valley corridor
The Ramapo River, the highways and the railway share the valley at the foot of the hills, drawing a strong band of lines through the poster.
Suburban loops
East of the valley, curving streets and cul-de-sacs create the looping pattern typical of New Jersey suburbs, dense and highly detailed.

Mahwah suits families who have settled in the township, Ramapo College alumni and anyone who hikes the ridges. The contrast of empty forest and intricate streets makes a map that is both graphic and personal.
