Matelândia Map Poster & Print
Matelândia lies in western Paraná, in the farming country that stretches toward the borders with Paraguay and Argentina. The town grew in the second half of the twentieth century as settlers cleared land for agriculture, and its plan reflects that period: a regular grid of blocks set out on gently rolling ground, with the main highway running past the urban edge.
From above, the street pattern is orderly and rectangular, loosening only where the terrain dips toward small streams. Beyond the last blocks, the map turns into a mosaic of cultivated fields cut by rural roads. The municipality lies in the region of the Iguaçu National Park, and larger areas of forest appear toward the south.
A Matelândia map poster captures that contrast between a planned frontier town and the open countryside around it. The regular grid prints as a crisp block of texture, while the scattered rural roads and stream lines around it create a lighter, more open field. It is a straightforward, honest portrait of an agricultural town in southern Brazil.

For families who settled the region, or for anyone who grew up among its fields and grid streets, Matelândia is a place of work, community and home. A clean map poster keeps its outline close, whether you still live there or moved away long ago.
Personalise the title, subtitle and coordinates line, perhaps with a family name or an arrival year, and choose from five styles: Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. It is available as a $9 HD download or a printed poster.
