Mingala Tangnyunt Map Poster & Print
Mingala Taungnyunt is one of the inner townships of Yangon, lying to the north-east of the historic downtown. Rather than the strict colonial grid of the city centre, its map shows a denser mix: long straight roads, smaller streets packed between them, and the sweeping lines of railway tracks that pass through this part of the city.
As an older, largely residential and commercial district, it holds markets, schools, monasteries and busy junctions typical of inner Yangon. Railway lines fanning out from Yangon Central station cross the area, and the trains, stations and level crossings are part of daily life for many of the people who live here.
A Mingala Taungnyunt map poster captures this part of the city at street level. The blocks are small and tightly drawn, the railway lines add long curves, and the neighbouring townships continue the pattern to every edge. It is a map for people who grew up here or who know Yangon beyond its postcard views.

Dense blocks
Small city blocks and narrow lanes fill the spaces between main roads, creating a fine, busy texture that prints especially well at larger sizes.
Edge of downtown
To the south-west the township meets the colonial street grid of central Yangon, where the pattern shifts to straighter, more regular lines.
