Moita Map Poster & Print
Moita sits on the south bank of the Tagus estuary, across the water from Lisbon. The map shows a town shaped by the shore, where the streets meet a long waterfront and narrow tidal creeks cut into the land. Beyond the centre, residential areas spread inland in a mix of older lanes and newer blocks.
The estuary has long defined life here. Traditional boats once carried goods across the river to Lisbon, and the salt marshes and mudflats around Moita are important for birds, including flamingos. The town's annual festival in September is one of the best-known in the region.
A Moita map poster brings out the meeting of land and water: irregular shorelines, marshes and the compact town beside them. The contrast between the open estuary and the built streets gives the print its character.

Tidal creeks
Narrow channels and marshland reach into the land around Moita. They create fine, irregular shapes that contrast with the street grid.
Town centre
The historic centre sits close to the water, with a dense network of streets. Newer neighbourhoods extend inland from it.
