Compact town grid
The residential streets form a tight cluster. It stands out as the densest area in a wide, largely empty frame.

Moularès Map Poster & Print
Moularès, also known as Oum El Araies, is in the Gafsa Governorate of southwestern Tunisia, near the border with Algeria. It is one of the towns of the Gafsa mining basin, where phosphate has been extracted for more than a century, and the town grew up around that industry.
On a map, Moularès is a compact grid set in dry, open country. Roads and rail links lead out toward the mines and the processing sites. Beyond the town, the land is marked by bare ridges and dry riverbeds, with the large, pale shapes of mining areas scattered across it.
A Moularès map poster shows a place defined by its surroundings: a dense street network in an empty landscape, with roads leading off toward the mines. It is a spare, strong design that reflects the working character of this part of Tunisia.

Mining roads and rail
Roads and rail lines connect the town to the phosphate workings. They run out across the map in long, purposeful lines.
Dry hills
Bare ridges and dry riverbeds shape the land around the town. They leave the print sparse and quiet, which suits a minimal style.
