Mrągowo Map Poster & Print
Mrągowo lies in the Masurian Lake District of northeastern Poland, a landscape of glacial lakes, forests and rolling hills. The town is built between lakes, most notably Lake Czos, which runs along its edge, and Lake Juno to the north. On the map, the old centre sits on higher ground by the water, with newer districts spreading around the shorelines.
Before 1945 the town was known by its German name, Sensburg, and it was part of East Prussia. Today it is a holiday base for the lake district and is widely known in Poland for its country music festival, which has been held here for decades in an amphitheatre by the lake.
A Mrągowo map poster is defined by its water. The long shapes of the lakes set the town's outline, streets bend to follow the shores, and forest presses in beyond them. In black and white the lakes read as calm, solid shapes, and the town becomes a pattern of lines drawn around them.

Between the lakes
The town occupies the land between several lakes, so its outline follows shorelines rather than straight boundaries, a typical Masurian form.
Lakeside amphitheatre
The open-air venue by the water hosts the town's well-known country music festival and is a clear landmark on the shore.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Many people know Mrągowo from summer holidays by the lakes, or from the festival. A map of it holds all of that in one quiet image: the water, the shore paths, the streets of the old town.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a summer or a year, and adjust the coordinates line. Pick one of five styles, including Paper or Sand for a softer look. Download the HD files for $9 or order a printed poster with an optional wooden frame.
