Plateau grid
The central streets follow a regular chequerboard. The blocks are about the same size, which gives the town a precise, almost diagrammatic look from above.

Não-Me-Toque Map Poster & Print
Não-Me-Toque sits on the high plateau of northern Rio Grande do Sul, a region of gently rolling farmland. The town is laid out as a compact, regular grid. Its straight streets meet at right angles, and they stop quite suddenly where the fields begin. Beyond the last blocks, the map shows a lighter pattern of rural roads that run between large plots of cultivated land.
The name translates roughly as touch-me-not, which is one of the more memorable place names in Brazil. The town is closely linked to agriculture. It is known for its agricultural machinery businesses and for Expodireto Cotrijal, a large farming fair that draws visitors from across the country and abroad.
A Não-Me-Toque map poster shows a place where the order of the streets matches the order of the surrounding farmland. The grid gives the centre of the print its structure, while the scattered country roads soften the edges. The result is an even, balanced composition that works well in a minimal style.

Edge of the fields
The built-up area ends cleanly, and the rural roads take over. That sharp change from town to farmland is one of the most striking lines on the map.
A memorable name
Few towns carry a name as unusual as touch-me-not. Printed as the poster title above the streets, it becomes a talking point in its own right.

For people who grew up here or have family on the plateau, the map is a direct reminder of home. The simple grid also suits modern interiors, where a quiet graphic piece often works better than a busy image.
You can change the title and subtitle, add a date or a family name to the coordinates line, and pick one of five styles, from Classic black & white to Sand. Download the HD files for $9 or order a matte print.
