Nepānagar Map Poster & Print
Nepānagar lies in Burhanpur district in the far south of Madhya Pradesh, among the forested foothills of the Satpura Range. The town takes its name from NEPA, the newsprint mill set up here in the mid-twentieth century, the first of its kind in India. Its layout still reflects the mill's place at the heart of the town.
On the map, the mill complex is a large, clearly defined block, with the staff colony laid out nearby in orderly rows, curving roads and planned sectors. The older market area is more irregular. The main railway line toward Bhusawal crosses the area and adds a strong straight line to the composition.
A Nepānagar map poster shows a company town in a forest setting: planned streets, industrial ground, the rail line and the wooded hills around it. It is a meaningful print for families who worked at the mill or grew up in the colony and remember the town by its roads and quarters.

Planned colony
Staff housing is set out in tidy sectors with curving roads and repeated blocks. This post-independence company-town layout reads clearly in fine line work.
Satpura setting
Forested hills of the Satpura Range surround the town, so the built-up area appears as a distinct clearing, with roads and rail running out through the woods.

Company towns build strong attachments, because home, school and work all fit within a few streets. A map of Nepānagar brings that small world back into view, especially for people who left as the mill's fortunes changed.
