Nīkshahr Map Poster & Print
Nīkshahr lies in Sistan and Baluchestan province, in the arid south-east of Iran, and serves as the centre of its county. On a map the town is a compact cluster of streets set within a landscape of dry riverbeds and rugged ground. The built area is small and self-contained, with open terrain pressing in on all sides.
The town's layout follows the land. Main roads run along the natural corridors between higher ground, and the residential blocks fill the flatter spaces between them. Seasonal watercourses, dry for much of the year, still leave visible traces around the edges, the kind of lines that become quietly striking once colour is removed.
A Nīkshahr map poster is a study in restraint. There are no broad boulevards or famous squares here, just a practical, tightly knit settlement in a demanding climate. Printed in black and white, the fine streets and the sparse surroundings balance each other, producing an image that feels calm, spare and particular to this corner of Iran.

Dry watercourses
Seasonal riverbeds wind around the settlement, usually empty but clearly marked, and they add soft, meandering lines to an otherwise angular street plan.
Surrounding terrain
Rugged, sparsely settled land encircles the town, and the open space on the poster conveys the scale of the Baluchestan landscape around it.

This map suits anyone with roots in Nīkshahr or the wider Baluchestan region, and it works well in minimal interiors where a quiet, graphic image is preferred to a busy one. The contrast of dense streets and empty land is naturally striking.
