Nkambe Map Poster & Print
Nkambe is the main town of the Donga-Mantung division in Cameroon's North-West Region. It lies on the high plateau of the Bamenda Grassfields, a landscape of rolling grassy hills, valleys and scattered woodland at considerable altitude. The climate is cooler than in much of the country, and the land is used for farming and grazing.
From above, Nkambe is an open, spread-out town. Roads follow the crests and slopes of the hills, and the built-up area is loosest at the edges, where compounds and fields mix. The centre has a denser cluster of streets around the market and administrative buildings. Routes lead out across the plateau to neighbouring communities.
A Nkambe map poster shows a town shaped by highland terrain. A small, dense centre gives way to roads that curve with the hills. For people from Donga-Mantung, it is a clear and personal portrait of home in the Grassfields.

Hillside roads
Streets and tracks follow the contours and ridges of the plateau. Their curving lines give the map an organic, flowing character.
Grassfields surroundings
Beyond the town, roads thin out across open highland. The sparse lines around the edge convey the space and altitude of the Bamenda Grassfields.
