Creek network
Winding creeks and channels thread through the area around the town. On the map they appear as fine curving lines that divide the land into irregular shapes.

Obonoma Map Poster & Print
Obonoma is in Rivers State, in the lower Niger Delta, a landscape defined by creeks, tidal channels and wetland. On a map, the settlement is a cluster of streets and compounds on firmer ground, surrounded by water and green space. Roads are few, and they tend to follow the dry land, so the town's outline is irregular.
The wider Delta is a maze of waterways linking the Niger to the Atlantic, and communities here have long relied on the creeks for travel, fishing and trade. That setting gives Obonoma a very different map from an inland town, with the edges of the water mattering as much as the streets.
An Obonoma map poster reflects that balance. It shows a modest network of roads and lanes, broken up by winding channels and wide open areas of wetland. The result is a loose, organic composition, closer to a natural pattern than a city plan, and it is quiet and unusual on the wall.

Settlement on firm ground
Streets and compounds gather on the drier land. That gives the built-up area an uneven, organic outline instead of a neat block.
Wetland margins
Much of the frame beyond the town is open wetland. It leaves wide empty areas on the print that set off the small cluster of streets.
