Ōgushi Map Poster & Print
Ōgushi lies in Saitama Prefecture, at the western edge of the Kanto Plain, where the flat land around Tokyo begins to rise toward low, wooded hills. From above, the landscape is a mix of rice paddies, small clusters of houses and winding roads, with rivers and streams cutting through the land in gentle curves.
This part of Saitama has a more rural character than the dense suburbs to the south and east. Settlements tend to follow roads and valleys, and farmland fills the space between them in small, irregular fields. Forested slopes break up the pattern, creating a varied, layered landscape on the map.
An Ōgushi map poster captures this quiet mix of plain and hill. Roads and waterways provide the main lines, houses gather in loose clusters, and the fields and forests fill the rest of the frame with soft texture. It is a calm, understated image of rural Japan, close to the capital yet clearly separate from it.
