The Loiret
The river winds through the town in slow curves. It is short and calm, and on the poster it forms a delicate line that ties together both sides of Olivet.

Olivet Map Poster & Print
Olivet sits just south of Orléans, between the Loire and the woodland of Sologne. What shapes it most is the Loiret, a short river that rises from springs in the nearby Parc Floral and winds west through Olivet before joining the Loire. On a map the river is a thin, meandering line lined with gardens and old mill sites. Residential streets spread north and south of it.
The banks of the Loiret have long drawn people from Orléans to walk, row and eat by the water. That makes Olivet feel more like a riverside retreat than a suburb. The town is also known for its tree and plant nurseries.
An Olivet map poster follows the river as its main thread. The looping Loiret runs through the middle, framed by curving streets and green spaces. It is a gentle, balanced image of a town arranged around its water.

Springs to the east
The Loiret rises from springs in the Parc Floral near the town's eastern edge. The river appears on the map almost fully formed, a notable quirk of the local geography.
Garden neighbourhoods
Streets on both banks are loose and curving, with large open plots between them. The looser texture reflects the gardens and nurseries the town is known for.
