Osogbo Map Poster & Print
Osogbo stands in the rolling country of southwest Nigeria, and on the map its streets gather into a dense core with roads leading out toward Ibadan, Ilesa and Ikirun. Older neighbourhoods show short, irregular lanes, while newer districts on the edges follow more open and regular patterns.
On the city's outskirts the Osun River curves through a large area of dense forest. This is the Osun-Osogbo Sacred Grove, dedicated to the river goddess Osun and listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site in 2005. On a map it appears as a quiet, unbuilt area beside the city.
Osogbo is the capital of Osun State, and every August it hosts the Osun-Osogbo festival, which draws visitors from Nigeria and the diaspora. An Osogbo map poster shows the relationship between a busy town and the forested river that gives it identity.

Osun River
The river bends through the grove and past the town, a winding line that anchors the southern side of the composition.
Radiating roads
Main routes lead out of the centre toward neighbouring towns, giving the street network a star-like structure around its dense core.
