Djebel Ouenza
The iron-ore mountain rises beside the town, with haul roads and benches cut into its slopes. It gives the poster a strong, textured mass next to the regular streets.

Ouenza Map Poster & Print
Ouenza lies in the north of Tébessa province in eastern Algeria, near the border with Tunisia. The town is defined by Djebel Ouenza, a mountain rich in iron ore that has been mined since the early twentieth century. From above, the town sits at the base of that high ground, with the mine's access roads and benches climbing the slopes beside it.
The town itself is compact and practical in layout. Its residential districts, many built for mine workers, are arranged in regular blocks, and a railway line carries the ore away toward the coast. Around the edges the land is dry and open, with scrub and farmland giving way to hills, so the town's outline stands out crisply against an empty background.
Iron from Ouenza has long supplied Algeria's steel industry, particularly the works near Annaba, and the mine remains one of the most important in the country. An Ouenza map poster records a working landscape, where the geometry of the streets and the rougher lines of the mountain sit side by side. It is an honest portrait of a town built around its work.

Ore railway
A railway line leaves the town carrying ore toward the steelworks and port to the northeast. On the map it is a long, deliberate line running out across open country.
Workers' districts
Residential areas laid out in orderly blocks reflect how the town grew around the mine. They form the compact, geometric core of the composition.
