Canal network
Straight irrigation channels cross the plain in long parallel runs, the defining pattern of the Tadla region and a strong graphic element in any print of the town.

Oulad Ayad Map Poster & Print
Oulad Ayad is a town in the Beni Mellal-Khenifra region of central Morocco, set on the Tadla plain, one of the country's major irrigated agricultural areas. From above, the most striking feature is not the town itself but the geometry around it: long, straight irrigation channels and rectangular field parcels that stretch across the flat land in every direction.
The town's own streets form a modest grid of blocks around a central core, with the main roads to neighbouring towns running out through the farmland. Agriculture shapes daily life here, and the area has long been associated with crops such as sugar beet that rely on the canal network fed by the Oum Er-Rbia basin.
An Oulad Ayad map poster brings this ordered landscape into focus. The regular lines of canals and field edges contrast with the denser mesh of the built-up area, giving the print an almost architectural quality, like a plan drawn with a ruler across a wide and level plain.

Field geometry
Rectangular farm parcels surround the town on all sides, turning the countryside into a grid of pale shapes framed by thin lines.
Compact centre
The town's own streets sit together in a tight cluster, a denser patch of blocks where the roads from surrounding villages come together.
