Kaveri River
One of South India's great rivers runs past the town in a wide channel. It dominates the map and separates Pallipalayam from Erode on the opposite bank.

Pallipalayam Map Poster & Print
Pallipalayam lies in Namakkal district in Tamil Nadu, on the bank of the Kaveri River directly opposite the city of Erode. The river is the defining feature of its map. It is broad here, and the town lines its bank, with bridges connecting it to the larger city on the far side. The two places form a single urban area split by water.
The town is closely tied to the region's textile industry. Weaving, dyeing and processing workshops are part of its economy, and traffic between Pallipalayam and Erode moves constantly across the river. Beyond the built-up area, the land opens into farmland watered by the Kaveri basin.
A Pallipalayam map poster puts the river in the centre of the story. The dense streets on one bank face the larger city on the other, and the bridges tie them together. In monochrome, the wide band of the Kaveri creates a strong horizontal element, and the settlement's close relationship with the water becomes immediately clear.

River crossings
Bridges link Pallipalayam with Erode. On the poster they appear as short, decisive lines across the water, connecting two parts of one urban area.
Riverside streets
The town's streets pack closely along the bank and then loosen into farmland further back. This creates a gradient from dense to open across the frame.
