River confluence
The meeting point of the Roshi Khola and Punyamati is the ritual heart of the town. On the map, the two streams close around the old core like the arms of a letter V.

Panauti Map Poster & Print
Panauti lies in a small valley southeast of Kathmandu, in Kavrepalanchok District. It is one of the best-preserved Newar towns in Nepal. Its old core of brick houses, carved wooden windows and pagoda temples has kept much of its traditional form. The Indreshwar Mahadev temple dates from the medieval period and is among the oldest pagoda-style temples in the country.
The old town stands where the Roshi Khola and Punyamati rivers meet. The confluence is considered sacred and is marked by ghats and shrines. On the map, the settlement forms a tight knot of narrow lanes between the two rivers. Terraced fields surround it, and newer houses spread along the roads leading into town.
A Panauti map poster works best at close range, where the fine grain of the lanes and courtyards becomes visible. The rivers frame the composition on two sides. The contrast between the dense historic centre and the open farmland beyond gives the print a clear, balanced structure that suits a quiet wall.

Temple squares
Small open squares break up the dense lanes, each gathered around a temple or rest house. This pattern is typical of Newar towns and shows as small pale openings in the street fabric.
Terraced surroundings
Beyond the old town, the valley floor is divided into fields and scattered farmhouses. This gives the outer edges of the map a softer, more open texture.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Panauti draws travellers looking for a slower, less visited side of Nepal. Many remember it for its festivals, homestays and morning light over the rivers. A map of the town keeps that memory in a restrained, graphic form.
Write a title in your own words, add the date of your visit as the subtitle and point the coordinates line to the confluence or a guesthouse. Paper and Sand suit the warm brick tones of the town, while Classic black & white, Noir and Blueprint give a sharper look.
