Tamiš riverfront
The Tamiš bends softly past the old town, and its green banks and quays form a natural edge that frames the centre on the poster.

Pančevo Map Poster & Print
Pančevo lies in southern Banat, part of Serbia's Vojvodina province, on the left bank of the Tamiš a short distance above where it flows into the Danube. Belgrade is close by across the water, yet the city keeps its own character. On a map the old centre shows the fairly regular street layout typical of Banat towns, with long, straight streets running toward the river.
The city has one of the oldest brewing traditions in the region, associated with the Weifert family and dating back to the early eighteenth century. It is also home to a large oil refinery and petrochemical complex on its southern side, whose tanks and pipelines make a striking geometric block on the map. The Tamiš curves gently past the centre between green banks.
A Pančevo map poster places the orderly streets of the old town beside the winding river and the flat, open plain of Banat around it. The domestic scale of the centre, the industrial precision of the refinery and the wide sweep of the Danube to the south make a strong, well-balanced composition.

Banat street grid
Long, straight streets and rectangular blocks give the historic centre its orderly look, a layout shared by many towns across the flat Pannonian plain.
Refinery complex
The industrial zone to the south is a striking pattern of circular tanks and straight service roads, one of the most graphic features on the whole map.
