Air base runways
The long, straight runways of the air base are among the clearest shapes on the map. They sit within a broad open area in the middle of the urban fabric.

Parnamirim Map Poster & Print
Parnamirim is part of the Natal metropolitan area, and from above its streets merge with the capital's southern edge. The mainland core is a mix of planned grids and newer housing developments, divided by the main highways heading south. The large, open outline of an air base occupies a major part of the map, and its runways form long straight marks among the neighbourhoods.
The air base has a notable history. During the Second World War, the airfield known as Parnamirim Field was a major Allied staging point for flights across the Atlantic toward Africa. The municipality also reaches the coast at Pirangi do Norte, home of the Cajueiro de Pirangi, often described as the largest cashew tree in the world.
A Parnamirim map poster shows a city in transition. There are established areas near Natal, rows of newer developments further out, and dunes, lagoons and beaches toward the sea. The composition balances the hard geometry of runways and highways with the softer coastline, and it reveals a place that is often passed through but rarely seen whole.

Pirangi coastline
The municipality reaches the Atlantic at Pirangi do Norte. There the street grid gives way to beaches and the shoreline curves gently along the edge of the poster.
Highway corridors
Main roads run south from Natal through Parnamirim. They form strong lines that divide the neighbourhoods and link the city to the coast.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
Parnamirim is home to many families who moved to the Natal area in recent decades. A map of their own city, not the capital next door, gives the place its own identity on the wall.
Change the title, subtitle and coordinates to mark a neighbourhood, a beach or a year. Choose Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Sand pairs naturally with the coastal setting and the runways.
