Colonial-style grid
Evenly spaced streets and square blocks spread out from the centre. They give the town a crisp, almost architectural outline on the page.

Patzicía Map Poster & Print
Patzicía is in the department of Chimaltenango, in Guatemala's central highlands, west of the capital. It is mainly a Kaqchikel Maya town, and the surrounding land is farmed intensively. Vegetables grown here are shipped well beyond the region. From above, the town is compact and clearly ordered, with a grid of blocks that goes back to the colonial pattern of highland towns.
The grid is the main feature of the map. Streets meet at right angles around a central square and spread outward in even steps. Past the last blocks, the pattern gives way to fields divided into small plots, with ravines cutting through the high plateau. In black and white, the contrast between the regular town and the irregular countryside is sharp and attractive.
A Patzicía map poster suits people from the town and its families abroad, and anyone who knows the Guatemalan highlands. It shows a place with a clear plan in a working agricultural landscape. The coordinates line anchors it at altitude, west of Guatemala City.

Farm plots
Small cultivated fields surround the town in a fine patchwork, reflecting the agricultural work that sustains Patzicía's economy.
Highland ravines
Natural gullies cut across the plateau around the town and add organic lines that offset the regular street grid.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
For families spread between Guatemala and elsewhere, a map of the home town is a simple, lasting link. Patzicía's clear grid also makes it an appealing design piece on its own, with order and landscape together in one frame.
Add your own title and subtitle, such as a surname or a date, and adjust the coordinates line. Choose from Classic black & white, Noir, Paper, Blueprint or Sand. Paper and Sand go well with the highland farmland.
