Arabian Sea edge
The western boundary is a long, almost straight beach line. On the poster it reads as a single unbroken contour, with the sea left as calm open space beside it.

Perinjanam Map Poster & Print
Perinjanam lies on the coast of Thrissur district in central Kerala, where the land is a narrow band between the Arabian Sea and the backwaters behind it. On a map this makes a strongly linear place. The shoreline runs along one side and roads and waterways run parallel on the other, with a dense weave of small lanes filling the space in between.
Settlement here is spread out rather than concentrated. Houses sit among coconut groves and household plots, so the street network looks like a fine, branching mesh with no tight centre. The main coastal highway runs north to south, and shorter roads step down toward the beach at intervals. This gives the drawing a steady, repeating rhythm along its whole length.
A Perinjanam map poster works best at a scale that keeps both edges in view, with the open sea to the west and the inland water to the east. In black and white the coast becomes one clean stroke. The settled strip beside it turns into a soft texture of lines, typical of the coastal villages along this part of Kerala.

Coastal highway spine
The main highway runs the length of the strip, and most local lanes branch off it, so the whole network hangs from one strong north–south line.
Water behind the coast
Inland, backwaters and channels cut the land into long pieces. This pattern is common on this stretch of the Kerala coast and adds calm, curving shapes to the map.

དོན་དག་ཡོད་པའི་ས་ཁྲ།
For people from the Thrissur coast, or anyone who has spent time along this shoreline, the map shows a very specific geography: sea on one side, water on the other, and home somewhere on the narrow land between. It is a quiet, recognisable picture of a coastal village.
