The Mologa River
The river winds past the town in wide curves. In the composition, it balances the straight streets and rail lines with a looser, natural shape.

Pestovo Map Poster & Print
Pestovo is a small town in the east of Novgorod Oblast, set among the forests and wetlands of northwestern Russia. The Mologa River loops through the area. On a map, the town looks like a practical grid of streets laid out beside the railway, softened wherever the river bends close to the houses.
The town grew around the railway and the timber industry, and its plan still reflects that. There are long, straight residential streets, open industrial ground near the tracks and wooden-house districts that turn loose and green at the edges. Past the last blocks, the land dissolves into forest, fields and scattered villages.
A Pestovo map poster turns this modest northern town into a clean study of line and water. The rail corridor gives the image a strong axis, and the river adds a slow curve against it. The result is understated and personal, the kind of map that means most to people who know the place well.

Railway axis
The railway cuts a firm line through Pestovo. Much of the town's layout orients to the tracks, which gives the map a clear structure.
Forest edges
The street grid thins quickly into wooded and marshy land. That leaves a quiet border of white space around the dense centre.
