Pind Dadan Khan is a town in Jhelum District, in the north of Pakistan's Punjab. It sits on the flat land south of the Jhelum River, close to where the Salt Range rises sharply from the plain. Salt Range
To the south, the Salt Range rises steeply out of the plain. The famous Khewra salt mine lies in its foothills nearby.
